About the event
“Bear One Another’s Burdens” and so fulfill the law of Christ, will be the theme for the retreat, which comes from Galatians 6:2.
Consider the Sequoia trees that tower as much as 300’ above the ground. Strangely, these giants have unusually shallow root systems that reach out in all directions to capture the greatest amount of surface moisture. Seldom will you see a redwood standing alone because high winds would quickly uproot it. That's why they grow in clusters. Their intertwining roots provide support for one another against the storms.
We need each other and that is why we hope you’ll join us for retreat.
The retreat officially begins Friday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m. with dinner, and will continue through Sunday October 8th right after lunch at noon. There are also some who get together before the retreat to go fishing, shoot guns and hang out on Thursday. Come up a day early (Thursday – Sunday) for $30 more. No meals are provided until Friday dinner. Group goes into town restaurants as option for eats Thursday night and Friday morning.
